Giftart for which I gave to her at AC.I don't usually give art to 'big names' in the fandom, but I chose her for a reason. At Anthrocon last year, my first con, she was one of the few 'big' artists who as polite and friendly when talked to, let alone actually willing to talk at all.
I understand cons are a stressful time, especially when that's how you help make a living, but it meant a lot that every time I or anyone went by she was very friendly and approachable, unlike another big name who just outright ignored my mate's attempts at saying hello and complementing this mystery being's art.
... Besides, Hazel's just plain adorable, too.

But it was lame of me to wander in and be all neurotic without mentioning the picture 
I love love love the way you did the fur. I struggle with fur, myself, and so I always notice and appreciate it when someone handles it in such a consistent way. The stylistic choice is very nice. Especially the way you varied it. It looks so soft. And the softness of the hair, the way it's been parted and shaped, fits with the stained glass theme.

Thanks! Though your fur really is great, I've been a long time fan of your work, and I think you do quite wonderfully with fur, especially in your more anthropomorphic themed pieces. I've actually been loosely studying your work as well as others for furring more humanoid anthros.

beautiful piece, can't quite figure out the medium here but I adore the affect you managed to reach. I stumbled across this looking at Dark Natasha's front page. I was at AC last year and though I am NOT, by any means, a big name...I do hope if you approached me I wasn't rude. I chose not to attend ac this year because of how stressed I was at my first 2 ac's...I really respect DN for how she manages to say so sweet...friendly and productive at cons..time after time....not to mention just being around her is like having the sun come out and warm your heart

Thank you! The piece is charcoal, which I tend to use for most of my realism.
I remember you and you were quite friendly, you are most certainly not the artist who was rude, and we briefly discussed polyphemus moths.

I wondered if it was charcoal..it had that texture..I also just noticed how the flowers in the background resemble stained glass framings
MOTHS!!! I am still hoping to do a series of moth/cat crosses, the variety and beauty of moths continues to amaze me..and for that matter butterflies get too much glitz :/.
