iida straight up said to mako 'your clothes look like shit, we're getting you new ones' and next day they went to the mall to get the stuff from tenya's long-ass shopping list he prepared
both of them were thinking that'd be nice to go out somewhere after shopping, like on a date
so mako randomly asked 'hey tenya, wanna go out somewhere today also?' and we're at this point, where iida surprised the toilet paper lord by pulling his hood over his head and leaning closer for quick cheek kiss
he answered 'yes, i'd love to'

also the hoodie mako has - iida bought it for him same day earlier
