The villain from my Yu-gi-oh fanfiction "Checkmate"His real name is unknown, he runs an underground club of super rich gamblers that play with people's lives. And now they have set their sights on Yugi Moto and friends. After sending a gauntlet of Yugi and his friends to face, Checkmate forces Yugi to a duel to the death with his friends lives as well as his own on the line, just to see who will win in a game where the stakes are so high. Checkmate uses cards that Yugi and his friends have never seen before. His monsters are based on chess pieces and his spells and traps are based on forms of gambling and have burn effects. When the duel begins Checkmate only gives Yugi a 10% chance of surviving. Can Yugi overcome the odds and find a way to take him down?

He plays with people's lives, like they were nothing more than pawns.
He either kills you or ruins your life, for money and the amusement of his fellow cons.
If you catch his eyes he'll force you to play his game using the prefect bait. Don't hold anything back or it won't be long be fore you hear him say Checkmate!
He sees the world in black and white, only to him there are no saints or sinners, to him there are only losers and winners.
He strikes without warning and by the time you seem him coming it may already be too late. It doesn't matter how hard you try, odds are you will hear him say Checkmate!
In this game of his winners live long and losers die. The stakes are high, but so is the prize.
Can anyone beat him with skill, luck, or a twist of fate? Or will he always be the one to say Checkmate?

I love like the charater and the original creativity you put in to creating the cards in his deck. I working on making Yugioh Fanfic trilogy which will tie the original with GX and 5D's together in ways that may surprise you. I would love to talk to you about ideas for it, if your interested.

Of course Yugi can! If Yugi could beat the entire Shadow Realm incarnate (aka Zorc Necrophades) , then he can beat some Bond villain rip-off any time of the day (granted, he had help, but the fact that he won against Zorc still presents itself

You reminded me of a fake Power Ragers commercial I saw on youtube. The announcer says, "Can the power rangers work together to defeat this villiany, of course they can! They do it every ******* episode!"
