Mosscat in springtime.
Actually started LAST spring, which gives you an idea how long I spent on this (as they say where I come from, hella hours). Really pleased with it, though; it's been awhile since I had the time/patience to work on something over an extended period.Medium: Photoshop, and espresso.

would you say it has more dominant line work, or more... from scratch? because looking at it, it seems to have a nice transition from lines (like on the ears) to none... its a very amazing piece

Aw, and he looks so content! Gorgeous colors, and I'm loving the detail. It's so lush, and so vibrant. I love the blue undertones behind the green, and my gosh, you must have needed a lot of espresso to paint all those tiny little mosses...

I had him in my head ever since the third grade and finally got him out onto paper last summer while I was at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco.
Surely you know where that is, hailing from the place of "hella"(
But onto the picture--I love her! She looks so comfortable and at peace, unlike her mate who is roaring.
