Thank you, James. My timing's off - the weather blows through during the week and clears up by weekend. It's about 2 days before the dust is stirred up enough to add haze and brighten the sky.

Sincere thanks To the north and at higher elevations, a brimmed hat and sunglasses are essential wear. The sky seems both dark and saturated next to the landscape where lower incident light allows each color to show clearly on its own.
