Drew this a while back after getting soul silver. Its just a quick painting, but I figured I'd go ahead and upload.Whoot whoot for pokemon!!! Entei is my favorite, then Suicune, then Raiko (not in the drawing, but just in general) Who is your fave?

Raikou/Entei/Suicune are NOT dogs. They're loosely based off of creatures of Japanese/Chinese folklore.
Raikou = Raiju (a thunder-demon of Japanese folklore)
Entei = Shisa (Lion-Dog like creatures of Okinawa folklore) and Fu-Dogs Fu-Lions of Chinese folklore.
Suicune = Fujin (Japanese God of the North Wind) and Kirin (Creatures of Chinese/Japanese folklore that were said to be able to purify the area around them).

I think their more cats, except Suicune. Maybe they're cat/dog hybrids? My fav in order would be Suicune (who is think is femine because of it's mane), Raikou, then Entei (Entei should belong to Molly and Suicune should belong to Ash. Seriously Ash is the only one Suicune allowed to ride more then once).

I like the border too. Checkerboard is awesome.
I never understood why Entei and Raikou were called dogs, they look more like lions to me but oh well.
Suicune is the only one who really looks sort of like a canine. o_o'
