I first discovered Shantae's existance on an article on Nintendo Power magazine, where it was talking about her new DSi sequel coming soon.

For those who dont know Shantae, she's a half-genie heroine who appears on the GBC game "Shantae." She can turn into animals with her belly-dancing, can use her ponytail as a whip. Awesome.

BTW, the cloud on her hand is a Storm Puff cloud magic thingy she can summon in the game.(along w/ other items)
