This the first part of a two part series (short i know ) called 'Strength and Honor' highlighting the beauty of Japanese culture through martial arts. This first part deals with strength and how useful it can be with the proper amount of control. In Kendo all the power in the world is pointless if it can not be focused into one decisive strike.

Hey all, hope summer is awesome! There has got to be nothing more terrifying than someone charging at you with all their mind, body and spirit, for all of those people that take Kendo or any other martial art knows what im talking about . Its interesting how even the most timid of people can become the most vicious warriors when they are able to focus their strength into one seemless action.

I will try and finish the second part 'Honor' and update it here. Peace out everyone and remeber to live a little!
