Description
An Oberon class freighter. Usable in almost any Space-ship based Roleplaying game. Not the most powerful ship, not the fastest.... but a great ship all around.I give great thanks to Captain Shade, and Mike Brown, who created the initial parts for this great ship.

Thanks to you and capt. shade for all this stuff,Β
Writing based Rper here, but recently i have been looking for custom ships. Β and through chopping up ships i have been able to outfit myself and a few of my friends with special fighters in the RP
(i just haven't uploaded them here yet... actually i don't know why i haven't uploaded them here yet)

Hey there.
For a while, I've been using this in my Star Wars tabletop RP - the 4-man party have been the proud owners of such a ship for over a real-life year now. Ingame, she's matte black and has stealth systems, but the core concept remains the same.
I just wanted to thank you both for myself and on my players' behalf for such a beautiful and characteristic vessel. I intend to try to draw her myself at some point as a commemorative picture for the gang - would you like to see it when it's done?

I am honored. I am glad that a ship of my design has brought happiness to a group of gamers.... I have been a gamer since I was 12, and I am still going strong at 36. Do your players a big favor. Have them find a hidden compartment inside the ship, and inside is a cache of the finest Alderanian wine.... or Corellian Whiskey... and a message from a character named Kavin Vel Dar... telling them to have a cold one on me!

They found the bottle of Corellian Reserve, and much enjoyed it.
Unfortunately, the noble Oberon was finally brought down today - shot out of the skies of Nar Shaddaa by a rogue unit of Republic Special Forces. The pilot was forced to perform a hard landing, and abandon ship before her reactor went critical. As I drew a big red X over her on the battlemap, I swear there were tears.
The Oberon is dead, but the party live. They're going to need a new vessel for the final act of the campaign. Anything you recommend from your library of homemade starships?

Heh... famed Ship designer Kavin Vel Dar has you covered.
Here are a few choices.
First, the Blue Streak: [link]
Then, The Chaser: [link]
The Serenity Class: [link]
And the Victory at Dxun: [link]
Regardless of your choice, please know that your gamers now have a 'special' backer... someone mysterious who will never show his face... the great ship designer Sephiro Kael (My Star Wars RPG character) Who will provide them whatever they need. If you have another request, send me a line, and I'll set you up a proper 'in game' situation!

Or, if you have the time,... I don't know if you do commissions, but could I trouble you for a picture? Basically the above ship, only with a black and silver coat of paint (she was a stealth ship, so I figured black colouring made sense); and a few more weapons / countermeasures.
My idea is to after a few missions of being ship-less give them the Oberon II, Mass Effect 2 style.
If you could do this, there isn't really anything I can offer you in return aside from the gratitude of myself and four other guys, who have enjoyed the Oberon immensely, and would be forever indebted for such a favour.

Beautiful curves, but it reminds me of a certain GIJoe stealth plane.

I hope you don't mind, but I have begun adapting this design into a battlegrid for my new roleplaying group (I intend to give them this vessel around lvl 5-6 as a personal transport).
But while creating the layout, I hit a snag of sorts. Assuming the windows not to be 50 square feet, I took the Star Wars rpg system of 2meter squares, and made the widest part of the front window 1 square wide. Reasoning from there, I have these measurements: 34 meters long, 16 meters wide (22.5 with engine pods) and 6 meters high at the thickest part. One deck from front to mid, and then two decks at the thicker part of the ship.
As such, I am classifying your design as a pleasure yacht/attack shuttle class, but it remains awesome, and trust me, they will make it more famous than the Millenium Falcon (as in my story, Anakin killed Palpatine, so the story of Han getting the Falcon or becoming friends with Chewie is a bit out there )
Do you want me to send you the grid design after it is finished?

If you've got a deck plan I would love to use it - I've an idea for a story where the ship was impounded at the start of the Clone Wars, purchased by a Republic Army officer for a discount, and then used as a transport after the war's end. Most of the interior is going to end up gutted (the luxury items sold to finance the changes), but I'd love a starting point to draw from.

This is what I made from it, lots of cargo area and at least 5 (bunk)beds right behind the bridge.
