Mr. Bagara from Bagara Industries, The Captain himself from Shade-Tech, Doc Vandengant from the Corporate Sector... to create a new type of engine... the Q - Drive. A Quantum Matrix Flux held in a liquid crystal capacitor... designed to take the ship beyond hyperspace and into Quantum Space. Imagine ships being able to teleport from planet to planet across the galaxy in the blink of an eye...The Great Experiment would produce the galaxies greatest tragedy... and its greatest invention.

heh... Doc Vandengant is actually Doctor Emmett Brown from Back to the Future... in this universe, when the lightning bolt hit the Delorian, it transported him to the Star Wars universe.
The Q-drive is his attempt to find a way home... so there's another little fandom for ya! And yes.... there's a Transformer involved...looooots of crossover effect here.
