It's strange isn't it, how unhealthy relationships in fiction are so strangely appealing? I think it's because it adds to the drama and the dramatic irony, that we as the audience can see it's unhealthy but the character(s) do not. I really love all the details here; the background is super beautiful and I really like all the warm colors. Her expression is very sad, because you can see she's trying to smile in spite of her wounds. A very lovely (albeit dark) piece!
