well if u have seen the death note directors cut it shows an extension of the regular anime ending, it shows the shinigami world with ryuuk there doing nothing as usual and another shinigami comes to talk to him this strange shinigami asks ruuk how to go to the human world and if ryuuk would tell him what happened when he went there and the awsome part of this ending is that the strange shinigami seems to be light some say he isnt that they have seen him before but i belive that light died and insted of going to the MU (the nothing) he becomes a shinigami and tries to get back to the human world without his past memories. i very much recommend u to watch deathnote directors cut plus that ending it shows Lยดs funeral and everything on the perspective of Ryuuk

yeah he didnt deserve it u-u, that scene is terrible, i wonder on the anime hes gonna say something but he only says something like guys listen up and then he dies i wonder what he was trying to say.. maybe instructions to the others cause he knew he was the next?, but well.. he ends up winning at the end with near and cause of mikamis distraction (not knowing the note was fake) its like a tie the only one who ends up alive is misa and shes gonna drop dead every second now cause of the deal she made with ryuuk XDU
