Description
Making a Tree-of-Life applique design for the back of a cloak. Cloak is for a LARP character.Sorry it's such a horrid washed-out photo. I need an actual camera.
The leaves are from various fake plants. Flowers are from a lei from a friend's stag-and-doe. The grapes are an iron-on patch that I bought. I'll be adding more fruit to it.

It's looking really good so far! Love using fabric leaves and flowers for such things, makes it so much easier to attach, and not having to try to make them myself!

I tend to hold on to fabric leaves and flowers like this, mostly for the purpose of sewing onto clothes and stuff. It's much easier than getting fabric in all the colours I want. Rather disappointed that the camera-phone washed out all the bright colours, though. :\
