I am finally feeling inspired to draw and yesterday was getting things done... then my tablet pen decided it was a great time to die ^_^ So no tablet/digital art for a while. But this won't stop me >:uThis is a good time to experiment more on paper. Expect traditional art until new pen arrive, should take between 2-4 weeks.
At first it was supposed to be a quick drawing/test so I didn't sketch it first, but I kept adding details and it took around 5-6 hours. Done with fountain pen and brush pen. I've never really done hatching for shading before, this is a lot of work but so much fun, I really want to keep experimenting more with it.

Yes that's how good this fricking artwork is. The pen is just exceptional. Such defined, and delicate yet statement-making lines. I see calligraphic marks here. The effects on making the "orb" shielded by the dragon's claws - good lighting effect showing contrasting light by the second with use of different lengths of line. Good line-thickness choices, everything is how beautifully I could ever imagine. You are ridiculously talented. Please never stop drawing you..... FRICKING FABULOUS PERSON
