found this little lily while out wildflower hunting... love its color!I put it up as a wallpaper for those of you still snowed in

I submitted it as a wallpaper...when you're choosing what catagoy you pick (instead of photography) 'desktop & customization' then from that submenu you choose the bottom 'wallpaper' and you'll have lots of choices in that second subcatagory...I'm not really sure what size the image needs to be to work, but no ones ever complained with what I've submitted...but I usually put up full size...

I've been searching for the name, and I suppose these flowers belong to Dichelostemma capitatum, common English names are Blue Dicks, Wild Hyacinth, or Common Brodiaea. Do the plants look like these here ?

we've been having torrential rain the last couple of days and the clouds broke just before sunset so we went for a little walk in the wind...we have wildflowers popping too

Actually it warmed up a bit and the sun is shining, I'm going out in my bird tent for a while. Setting the scene for some action shots.

Yes, I bought a little tent a few weeks ago and I cut a hole in the front for my lens, works like a charm and keeps me out of the wind. It's nice and compact and lightweight so I just drag it to wherever I want to shoot.

Just position it near a nice branch with great lighting, sprinkle bird seed on the ground, set up your tripod, choose your spot and wait.
