This cabin is one of a dozen or so at a small resort in the mountains near me - we don't have a lot of fall color here in California but this is one of the most beautiful areas

beautiful! i wish i could own a place like this, especially being near Tahoe. I think the Lake Tahoe area was my favorite places when i was out visiting.

it is part of a small resort (very rustic) we talked about getting a home in the Tahoe basin when we first moved up to N. CA but I knew I didn't want to live IN the snow - would rather go visit it, lol.
