I remember when I played that game and beat the nightlights out of Dark Khan with Subzero...the first thing I thought was 'WHAT!?!? Why does that remind me of Stryker's ending from MK: Armageddon!?'....except this one is a lot more funny and unexpected than Stryker's ending!!

I never got Sub-Zero being Batman's MK counterpart, if anyone it should be Scorpion. Just one of those weirder than usual WTF moments...

Here's what I don't get:
In MK vs DC Sub-Zero has the Dragon Medallion and the ice covered arms which means he's the Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei. Yet in his ending, it says the Lin Kuei don't like people leaving. If Sub-Zero is in charge of the Lin Kuei around the time MK vs DC takes place, shouldn't he be allowed to do whatever he wants and not worry about what anyone else thinks?

That's one of the inconsistencies I was talking about. Scorpion hates Sub-Zero in that game, implying it's around MK4. However, Sub-Zero has the dragon medallion (MK DA) yet is fleeing from his clan (MK3-MK4ish). Quan Chi has his tattoos (MK DA) and was helping Shao Kahn (MK3). To top it off, Liu Kang's still alive (Any time before MK DA).

So, it's safe to say this game isn't at all canon. By the way, why do you think Quan Chi helping Shao Kahn is in MK3? Quan didn't make his debut until MK4. Then again, his actions do span through out the whole series, even before the first MK

I thought in 4 Quan Chi had Shao Kahn's trust then betrayed it to help Shinnok (who he then betrayed). Maybe I'm getting it mixed up with MK9 though. It's been a while.

when i saw sub's ending in mk vs dc i laughed my freaking ass off at it. i was half exspecting to see him take off in his own version of the Batmobile.

It was so silly, I absolutely loved it. Most of the MK characters basically turned into the DC superheroes/villains.

My reaction was a lot like Scorpion's when I first saw Subb-Zero's ending: Wait...wat? I was sad. And confused. And a little angry and violated. But mostly sad. I'm just glad MK 9 looks much more promising.

It was. In a terrible, 'why God?' sort of way. I'm glad I didn't buy the game. I'm just going to sit back for MK 9 and pretend MK vs DC didn't happen.
