I got to go see Brave before release date the other day. My mum happened to notice one of the cinemas were doing preview screenings, so we both went along. Great movie! I absolutely loved it, Merida is gorgeous and it's great to see such a strong character as Pixar's first female lead.I was mucking about on Posemaniacs and something similar to this popped up. When I saw it the first thing that came into my mind to draw was Merida with her bow.

Kaylene, this turned out awesome! I've been pretty excited for Brave too, and am going to see it when I get a chance. It's great to see you doing more dynamic poses instead of just the same static ones everytime (something I am very guilty of...) Merida looks good in your style and I definitely appreciate all the work that must've gone into that flawlessly smooth shading.
