This is a picture of the very cute bassist of the band My Chemical Romance, Mikey Way.This is also a Christmas present for my almost little sister ~donttellmom06 I hope she likes him! He took a few long hours of work, but was ultimately worth it, because I'm really happy with how he came out. ^_^

I wish i could draw like that ^^ and those shadows... all my drawing always turn out cartoonish, and without much shadow

^_^ I love doing shadows, they create the most wonderful effects.
I usually use photos for reference when I draw, and I usually try to find pictures with lots of wonderful contrasts and shadows, because it usually adds to the effect of my pictures. That's one way to help keep pictures more realistic looking... at least for me.

Yeah, the stuff I try to do from my imagination is always very childlike and cartoony in a way... which is why I don't like it... I feel like I'm ruining my art skills instead of making them better.
Haha. Practice makes perfect... or so they say... though I guess since no ones perfect its kind of a waste ... hahah.
