Go to page 1: [link]This is the real cover for the first issue. The promo cover was used for prints and proofs. I think we did a good job on that too, but it wasn't what I wanted for the actual book. this is more like what i envisioned, and did a perfect job capturing my idea with this wonderful BG. So big props to her!
As always, colors mangled when saving for web. The print colors are perfect!

yah, ESDA06 is right on that one. My computer can't pick out details, so they look like wolves with very bristley fur on their backs. I do the fur like that sometimes on my wolves so yah... Very nice, though!

I think it's just that the screens for some people are too small to pick out the details, so they see long teeth and the same color coats as the wolves in front, and might think they're wolves at first glance. Just make some of the sabres not-brown if it worries you, but in print I don't think anyone is going to make that mistake.

Hope it works out. Just as a inspirational kid of thing, the link posted on this comment leads to this little fanart I did of Bloodspill, basically what she would look like in my own fantasy world. In the upper right corner is the logo that I thought would be cool for your story. Maybe it could help you think of something.

If you have any ideas for a logo, you can describe it to me, and I can probably work something up. I do some sketching and they end up becoming symbols, so perhaps I could help you out with a logo, if you need it.
