Go to page 1: [link]This is the real cover for the first issue. The promo cover was used for prints and proofs. I think we did a good job on that too, but it wasn't what I wanted for the actual book. this is more like what i envisioned, and did a perfect job capturing my idea with this wonderful BG. So big props to her!
As always, colors mangled when saving for web. The print colors are perfect!

*Faints and twiches* Kay this is truely amazing! I love the lighting of it, how the sun reflects that golden color off the leaves look sooo realistc! I can't wait until it comes out!

This is a graphic novel? I thought it was a comic book since there arn't that many pages and there are only...2 more coming out for the first issue?

Graphic novel translates to picture story, sounds better than "comic book" since people usually think of superheros and villains when you use that term.

Haha I feel like a dork posting such a long comment. But like I can't help it! I couldn't decide what one thing I wanted to comment on! Its just all so awesome.

This cover is brilliant and it REALLY REALLY displays Fable's talents with the background beautifully. I like the sabre's face on the right side. Cus if I saw right it looks like its grinning. When I get my copy I will have to look closer. Poor Whitewind she looks all "...crap..." That blank stare at the ground.
And Swiftkill, god she looks so awesome. Off on the side like that. Just enough to really get people thinking "hmm.. what is this about?" Without giving out anything serious. And to those who know what the comic is basically about, it is like "will she give Inaria aid..? Or won't she.. Hmm.." I love it. This cover captures the first issue wonderfully. I Love Swiftkill's Eye it holds so much character and so little expression, as if she is wondering whether its worth it.
