Poster design created as promotional material for the BBA table at Furfest. This is also the cover of the first issue (though that will have more text in different places).Available for purchase at Furfest 2006 in Shaumburg, IL (furfest.net)

i love the pose! It looks sooooooooo cool! if u wouldnt mind, i would kinda like to draw a wolf in that pose, so i just wanted to clarify just to be sure. lol. do u mind?

I'd advise you to look at a real wolf then. It's not a good idea to reference artwork simply because you're only learning how to draw that artist's way, and adopting all the flaws they have too. It's better to look at photographs and break down how they're put together and THEN draw. You'll learn more that way.

honestly, this should be a second BBA poster. It would be nice for people to have a slight variety in what poster they have. And it would be better if they had both (I sure think so because I would have both

On a defferent note, have you seen the animes Ginga Nagareboshui Gin (Silver Fang) and Ginga Densetsu Weed, In think that they, especially Weed are right up your alley.

I've watched both (and read some of Weed) and while I enjoyed Gin's series, I was sorely disappointed with Weed's characterization. The peripheral characters captured my attention far more and the original arch in the story (involving the mutant dog) spoke more about humanity and regret than did the next arch with the Great Dane villain. I felt like Gin earned his determination and skill and learned far more about morality and family, while for Weed is was always sort of there. He was never questioned, never made a bad decision, and was absolutely flawless.

Hmm, you have a point, Weed is a bit flawless. But I still love him, lol.
But yes The Gin series was much more harsh. Poor Gin. I never liked the ending though, I think Gin should have stayed ith Daisuke.

Wow. This is amazing. I know, I'd buy the graphic novel, if it were available in stores where I am. And hopefully it's in high demand so you can make that happen!!
You know what would be awesome? If, when you get some time out of your busy novel making schedule, you could make a tutorial on how you started making your animals or something. I know a lot of people would appreciate it. Just a suggestion.
