I like this page more now, though I think Maro should've kept his "Fight me Swiftkill!" quote. It sounds more respectable/scared, yet has an ~I'm gonna let greed control my actions for a bit.~

All the expressions are great,and I love it how Maro gains courage throughout the panels,and then well,loses it D:
Also,I think it's better how Swift justs blinds him in one eye,instead of killing him.
Makes him learn his lesson,eh? xD
And the second panel in the old page,you just saw Swifktill's neck,so it's better now that you see her bootifful face talking :3
Esda is really amazing with the backgrounds,I really like the colors she chose and they way she does bark o.o

I hadn't seen this before! STOOOOPID me. First off you're not boring! You and Fable both rock!
And second this page is awesome. The original at first I kinda figured she was trying to keep her pack mates alive and then finally snapped and was just like "Oh what the hell.. DIE BISH! -rips throat out-" But this follows through from when she said, she didn't want to kill her pack mates. And still shows how she got her name.
Reminds me of the Kill Bill movies with the eye 'snatching' part. xD
Though, I guess now I wonder, where did the eye go?

You're gonna have to redo the rest of the pages since Swiftkill is covered in blood throughout the flashback from now on because she cut Maro through like a knife on the other peice and he actually dies so there's gonna be a bit of confusion. Just a reminder.

That aside, lovely page. The anatomy, expressions, and high general quality of it show how much you've improved even just since the original page 12. I like how Maro looks more aggressive in addition to fearful and stuttery throughout, instead of going from shocked/afraid to murderous in the matter of one eye-shot. Makes you appreciate Rapier's way with words, too, convincing them to turn on their own so utterly.
Was there always a dissenting faction who disliked the Guard, or did Rapier start the whole dealio in her bid for alphaship?

Rapier kindof put the idea into peoples heads that the Guard are "bad" and that Inaria would be better without them. Anyone perks up their ears and takes heart when you are promising them power, too
Yea I agree Maro was too polar in the last version. It kindof made no sense. I mean, it made sense to ME at the time, but it wasnt clear to anyone else
Ive been using the revamps to help clarify the plot as well as fix continuity errors.
Ive improved alot, mostly due to erin's direction. but I could be improving more if Id practice more. I barely ever draw nowadays except when im working on the comic :\ Hear that ppl? PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!

I dunno, I kind of liked the dialogue (sp?) on the first one better. It kind of had a more tense feeling to it unless I just need to re-read it and compare (wish I didn't have so many tabs running at one time.)
That's just my input, but I really do enjoy watching your progress and such since you like to experiment as much as I do.
