A beautifully well thought through page. As with the whole of your comic, I can actually imagine the characters coming to life, which a lot of graphic novelists fail to achieve.

Looking pretty nice. The colors are a bit odd on my monitor but that may be a print-color thing.
One suggestion that's crossed my mind re: your character designs... have you considered adding dewclaws to the canines? Since your designs are fairly detailed (in the sense that there's a lot of detail in fur tufts, teeth, etc.), the lack of dewclaws has kind of jumped out at me. It's not an issue at all for the distance shots of the characters, but it does stand out IMO for closeups like [link]

ya good point, I should probably start consistently adding them. Just like the appearence of claws/nails, I generally only draw them for closeups. But yea as my anatomy is evolving I should really keep that in mind for consistency. Thanks for the comment!

I've been following the BBA comic from its inception (way back when it was just you working solo) and I can tell you and ESDA are still refining the style and figuring out the details of the character designs. I definitely like where it's headed-- it's going away from having big doe-y Disney eyes and into its own, more realistic look. So adding the dewclaws would help make it more distinct, I think.

In any case my favorite part of the whole page? The stars. My god the stars are just so pretty, I'm such a space-freak. Anything where I see lots and lots of stars, drawn or not, I immediately fall in love. The first panel gives me a 3D-y feel, nice work you three!
