How am I rude?The page is days over the date it shouldve been released,I know shes ill but it still baffles me why she would even have a date set for a page to come out if her illness is tgat bad.

If you think it's that easy, I would love to see you try it. They say it's easier to criticize and complain than to do it yourself.
Sometimes things just happen: health, family, computers, life in general. So don't hold anything against her, especially if she has no control over the situation. A deadline can't always be met and so that's where we need a bit of flexibility as well as understanding.

Dude, I understand your view point. Only, when we get sick, we can't really control it. I myself am recovering from a mononucleosis, so I couldn't attend my college midterms. Not because I didn't studied, just because I physically couldn't keep myself up, or be able to think properly. I am sure the artist is wishing to put the page out, but she must be in a similar situation if she was not able to meet her deadline. After all, this level of quality is a lot of work ^^ Of course it would be ideal if everything was ready on time, but I by far prefer having the artist in good shape than a comic strip

yeah- her illness is one that takes a massive toll on her when it flairs up. she's never revealed what it is, probably because it's kinda personal information, but she does try to keep up with her schedule. i've been helping her out with redlines and sketches the past few pages, so i know how hard she works trying to get them out on time. i understand it can be frustrating when people seemingly don't hold up their end of the bargain, but when people say kay's been sick, it's not a common cold sort of deal- it's a pretty serious illness that she was diagnosed with about two years ago. she'll be back once she gets her health back under control. when she's in better health, she's very consistent

My doctor has set me up with a neurologist and cardiologist to try and get behind my "blackouts" since I have them like everyday but they're no big deal.

Hey, to put this in a mature perspective, bottom line is, we all make mistakes, and even creators do. (this is coming from an upcoming author of a book saga called Twilight Sun) We're all human beings, but...yeah; treat your fans as delicately as you treat your money; that's what I'd say, to nutshell this. Have consideration, both as fan and creator. we can forgive a few mishaps, but make one too many, we give up on a creator. It's bad she's sick, and we gotta sympathize, but we gotta check her, as well. The fans who check her the most to pressure her into doing the right thing after one-too-many mishaps are the ones that truly care the most, apart from the praise, and you're one of them, it seems. praise is a wonderful half of the whole thing, cheering on the creator's praiseworthy work, but checking xir, and standing up to the bullshit, if any, that a creator pulls, in order to put xir back on track is a truly caring fan, as the other half you need. To Kay's defense, creators may not be aware that they're doing something wrong, and maybe Kay has trouble being organized now and then (I don't know her, but it's my guess), so it's good to level with them, but check them ruthlessly, but gently, depending on how much of a fan one is. it's the least and possibly the best we can do as fans apart from the occasional donation and usual "good-job" praise-singing.
P.S, my sympathies about your internal ordeals. I hope they turn out better for you, and you overcome that big challenge and barrier in your life (note: I didn't say problem. I said challenge in the hopes of making you think of it as an obstacle and not a permanent shaming downer), and you find more balance in your life.

Again, it's not like Kay owes us this comic—nor is it the first time she (or any other comic writer) is behind schedule in updates, and it won't be the last. But more importantly, if you're sick, deadlines mean jack all; health should always come first.
