For those who are concerned, Kay has just posted an update on her journal a little while ago. Basically, she's very ill again and is struggling to fight through it, so BBA will be delayed until she wins the battle. Her journal gives a little bit more detail.

Sorry for the really late reply! I'm not sure what Kay has, but it's serious enough that she has put the comic on an indefinite hiatus until she gets well again. She will update us once she has recovered, I'm sure.

A cliffhanger is an ending meant to keep you in suspense by cutting off in the middle of an intense event. For example, say you're watching the end of an episode of a TV show. A man has to choose between two people to kill. You see him shoot, but instead of showing you who was shot, it cuts off and the episode ends. That's a cliffhanger because it forces you to wait until the next episode to see what happened. This page isn't an intended cliffhanger, but it can be seen as one. Kay's sick at the moment, so we do have to wait for her to overcome her illness before the next page is released.

I just fell across this comic and it is most certainly a gorgeous piece of work. Your detailing is very intricate, the storyline captivating and your characters are simply marvelous. I adore Swift’s design. She is absolutely beautiful.
I also love the various view points manage to make. I struggle immensely with such as an artist and studying the angles helps quite a bit with it all. I am so sorry to hear about your health and it was rather heart breaking to “watch it” decline as each chapter progressed. I hope and pray things get better for you. Having delicate health is one of the worst things to have thrown at you. Hang in there.

I absolutely LOVE Blood's reaction! It is done so well, both intimidating and humorous. Reminds me a lot of when Peridot called Yellow Diamond a "clod" in Steven Universe, same type of energy lmao.

Kay, I hope you're doing okay. I just want to let you know that I support your decision if you decide to turn comments off. It has gotten quite toxic and taxing with some of the stuff I've seen posted here. To be honest, I would actually encourage you to turn comments off. It does nothing for your mental well being to be constantly harassed and spat upon, and it certainly doesn't help you physically, spiritually, or emotionally.
