This was a commission from ~foxacongrimm , who requested I design two characters for a WIP story they're writing. C: It sounds like it's going to be preeeeetty cool, guys. I'd go bug them to tell you more.
What they told me was a simple story of hidden secrets....a mare who isn't what she seems, A stallion who is honest, and loving, and a changling who lurks in the shadow of a mare....wondering if she will ever have the courage to show herself to the one she loves.I designed the ponies based on what I would imagine was a bit of...geeze, I don't know. OTL The mare was supposed to have a bit of a changling look to her, hence the sadle back marking, unicorn horn, and eyes with pupils that are simply a darker shade of her iris, instead of classic black. The Stallion looks down to earth, and welcoming with earthy, honest tones of brown and warm orange. Freckles always seem to scream innocence to me as well. C:

Yeah I still dont have names for them, but I hope to change that when I have time to really sit down and think. Damn why must I work ;w; oh yeah to be able to afford awesome stuff like this x3
Very nice work, it makes me very happy to see it. So I have the rights to use the characters design? Or did I read that wrong?
In either case, I'm debating writing this out or making it into a comic.

And yes to this ^ I agree 100% on that, man you have no idea how much I love these designs. Great work on capturing her reflections emotion, its a great blend of exhaustion and sorrow. Mulling over something that big does have a physical impact on you, so I'm glad it came out so well. Thank you again. I will definitively commission you again when I have the money and you have the space.

You know that's a very interesting concept in having her actually as changing. I've almost finished, what could be classed as, season one of my fanfic and I had actually considered having Bristol Hawke as a changling myself.
But, well that'd be hard given their history but BOY what a twist it would be.

Wow, sounds like an interesting story! Kind of reminds me of the legend of the Yuki-Onna (not quite similar but the lady is something she doesn't at first appear to be)
