Oh boy that's right, another page. Art on this one is about 50-50 old and new- all new colors, a lot of the bgs, and mostly original lines w/ touch ups. It's going to be a while before I can draw cities the way I want them to look, but I can say that I'm kinda proud of the lighting on this page. C8 Also, a textless version of the page can be found here: sta.sh/02enmcz2c9ry You should probably be able to see their portal or smth in the bg of some of the panels but ehgghhhh

It's easy for me to talk about nothing but art or my thoughts, but I should prob say something about what's actually going on in the pages too. Story-wise, I do wonder if anyone saw this turn of events coming during the tournament... I'd like to think there's enough there that it's isn't/wasn't a total surprise. :'D We're certainly not in Kansas anymore. Somewhere around R2-R3 the thoughts of 'wouldn't it be cool if the prince was after Sal's technology' and 'WOULDN'T IT BE COOL IF I HAD A ROUND SET IN THE FUTURE....' just collided. But that was one thing I thought was really neat about Idris- for a 'steampunk' tournament, many of the contestants (all the R4s at least) went in very different directions w/ their plots, and had very diff origins for their characters. c':

Anyway, the prince shooting Sal here was supposed to be a careless accident but his expression in that panel ended up making it look like it was on purpose WHOOPS. (That happened in the 1st place mostly because I'd originally started the next page before this one, and it didn't make sense that Sal A.) didn't just shoot Stratus and B.) was having such a difficult time catching up to him during a chase- so a slight injury slowed him down.)
