"Through Time"

This was a special commission piece that I created this year that I have been looking forward to sharing.

This piece was drawn entirely with mechanical pencils, blending stomps and erasers.
Drawn on 9 x 12 sketchbook paper from reference photos given to me by the client, this took me many hours to draw.

I wanted to focus on a couple key elements of both people, mainly the adorable cheek dimples that they share.
This is my favourite kind of piece to create; while very difficult to ensure they look exactly as they do in the photos, I also love creating something as meaningful as this for people.
