Description

With Blood in the Water coming to a close, that could only mean one thing. More Reef Report! Carol walked in as the band played the intro to the show. The crowd cheered as she sat down behind her desk and started the show.

“Hello hello, and welcome to another Reef Report. And I’ve got to say, it’s so good to see all of you. It always feels like too long.” Carol started off. “Leviathan’s big PPV, Blood in the Water, has come to a close, and what a show it was! Rivalries like these clashing in the ring in all-out battles. The stakes were high for every wrestler, but now that the PPV is over, let’s see how it went down.” The fights would be displayed on the screen as Carol went through them all.

    Tracy vs Benta

“For our first match, we have Tracy vs Benta. Tracy had a lot riding on this match to prove herself to everyone else, and to her rival. The fight was a serious back and forth with Benta trying to not just weaken Tracy physically, but her spirit too. After a few powerful attacks from Benta that left Tracy in a bad shape, Benta went for the pin. It almost seemed like it was over, but Benta broke the pin herself to continue the fight. She put Tracy into an intense Camel Clutch, testing her endurance. Tracy was eventually able to escape and lock Benta in a submission of her own that would choke her rival. With no other options, Benta tapped out. While there might still be some heat between these two, it seems that this match ended with a newfound sense of respect between the two fighters.”

    Effie vs Amber

“Next up let’s talk about Effie vs Amber. Both are young and newer wrestlers to the big leagues. This means that both saw this fight as a chance to prove themselves. It was easy to see their motivation in the fight as it was pretty evenly matched for the most part. But Effie’s strategy was trying to overpower Amber, while Amber tried to counter Effie’s attacks. Ultimately, that’s what led to Amber landing a headlock DDT, and winning the match. Despite the loss, Effie was supportive of Amber in her win, and both proved that they’re names to keep an eye on.”

    Typhoon vs Nymph

“Typhoon vs Nymph started out incredibly tense but had a very sweet conclusion. Typhoon had beef with Nymph over her beating her boyfriend in a match. That anger showed at the start of the match as she used that energy to go all out on Nymph. But Nymph responded strongly as well. During their fight, this drama between them was resolved. After all, there’s no better place to let it all out than in the ring. With their issues between them being settled, they continued the fight where Nymph pulled ahead in the end and took the win.”

    Kaiju vs Tuna

“Tuna had her work put out for her as she took on the monstrous Kaiju. Knowing that she couldn’t match her in strength, she would focus at first on countering Kaiju’s attacks. That strategy would soon shift as Tuna would get aggressive on the offense. She would even get an attempt to use her finisher on Kaiju, but that’s when things took a turn. Kaiju reversed her finisher, revealing that she was going easy on her. That’s when Kaiju would be done playing around with her and would put Tuna into a sleeperhold. Despite her position, Tuna refused to stay down and wouldn’t tap out. Kaiju’s hold wouldn’t be broken through. Tuna passed out in Kaiju’s grip, and Kaiju was declared the winner.”

    Stingray vs Thresher

“Stingray vs Thresher had everyone on the edge of their seats. The fight would go blow for blow. It was anyone’s fight. Impossible to tell who would win. Finally, the fight would come to a close as Stingray would land a powerful kick to Thresher’s jaw. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind that the fight was over after that. This fight ended on a big note, and we’re all excited to see just what these two do next.”

    The Academy vs Piranhas

“This was the debut match of the Academy, but despite that, they still have a feud with the Piranhas. And that’s what Blood in the Water is for. It would be an intense clash, but the Piranhas’ experience gave them the edge over the Academy. The Piranhas focused on dividing and conquering. One Academy member was tossed out of the ring, which allowed the Piranhas to gang up on the other. They would knock her out with a massive tag team move before pinning her to claim the win!”

    Ash vs Ayato

“It’s fair to say that Ash and Ayato hate each other. This is no mere rivalry. This is an actual war between the two wrestlers. There was a lot riding on this match for Ayato, with Ms. Scylla herself saying that he’ll be fired if he loses. And with this being a no disqualifications match, both fighters would take this fight to extreme levels. After some back and forth, Ayato would hit Ash with a steel chair and pin her. But despite having the chance to end the fight right there, Ayato would break the pin himself. Instead, he’d go to slam Ash through a table, but in the time he took to gloat, Ash would recover enough to pick Ayato up and powerbomb him through the table. She would go for the pin herself, but Ayato broke out at two. This is when Ash would land her finisher on Ayato, but in her exhausted state was unable to pin him before he could roll out of the ring. Ash would try to follow him, but Ayato would hit her with a kendo stick covered in thumbtacks. What would follow would be a merciless beating with the kendo stick. Ayato, finally being satisfied, would hit Ash with his finisher, and pins her for the win. Despite not winning the match, Ash was cheered for by the crowd, and we’re all waiting to see her in the ring again.”

Sea Goddesses vs Yumi, Chiara, and Catfish

“This 3v3 Elimination match had people right from the get-go as we had the ragtag team-up of Yumi, Chiara, and Catfish vs the Sea Goddesses. We start with Catfish vs Akari. While Catfish would impress the crowd with her bearhug on Akari, Akari would eventually break out, and hit her with a running bulldog, allowing her to pin Catfish and eliminate her. Chiara would be up next vs Akari. Akari would get close to eliminating Chiara after hitting her with a big boot, but Chiara would turn things around and hit Akari with a superkick and eliminate her. Noah would be next in the ring, facing Chiara. Chiara would try to hit Noah with a spear attack, but it wouldn’t work on Noah. He would bring her to the center of the ring and lock her in an inverted key lock hold, forcing her to tap out. Yumi enters the ring next. For her team to win, she’d have to eliminate two opponents all by herself. While her Camel Clutch was intense, Noah would power through it and go for a Second Rope Air Raid Crash. Yumi would reverse it though with a Second Rope Crucifix Driver before locking Noah in an Elevated Crossface, forcing him to tap out. The last one in the ring, Allison, made this match personal. She and Yumi used to be friends. The two would lock each other into a variety of submission holds, but Yumi would edge out the advantage. She would go for her finisher, but Noah would push her off the top rope, allowing Allison to lock Yumi in a headscissor hold and choke her out. While the Sea Goddesses won, this wouldn’t be a proud win for Allison.”
Kraken vs Astrid

“We then got a big fight between big titans. Astrid vs Kraken was an intense match where both started off absurdly strong. Kraken almost got the win after hitting Astrid with a massive leg drop, but she got back up and was able to hit Kraken out of the ring. The fight almost came to a draw as Astrid continued the fight outside the ring and was laid out with a T-Bone Suplex, leaving both so exhausted that they nearly got counted out. At the last second they both got back into the ring, and Astrid shocked the crowd by being able to lift Kraken up for a bodyslam. She was able to pin him for a 2 count before he kicked out and the fight went on. Kraken would end the fight with his finisher, the Anchor Drop. While he won, Kraken still recognized Astrid as a worthy opponent, and we all were very impressed as well by the strength of both fighters.”

    Main event

“For the main event match, we had Barracuda and Mizuko vs Tracy and Umiko. This intense match had so much back and forth I’d be here for hours describing it all. But the important part is that despite the dirty tricks Barracuda would pull, and the torturous moves Mizuko would use, Tracy and Umiko wouldn’t be bested and won the big final match of Blood in the Water! Here to tell us more, please welcome our guests, the winners themselves, Tracy and Umiko!”

The audience would cheer as the spotlight moved over to the stage entrance for guests

Umiko would push open the curtains at the stage entrance and let Tracy go before her.

Tracy would come out with her signature apple and wave to the crowd, taking a bite before lightly tossing it to someone random in the crowd like she does when she comes out to the ring. Waving to the audience and doing typical taunts and gestures like she normally would as she waited for Umiko to join her.

Tracy was wearing tight black leather pants and a simple halter top with her skull logo along with some matching black combat boots and fingerless gloves. Hair short and swept to the side this time.

After letting Tracy go ahead, Umiko followed her partner before waving to the live crowd before taking a seat on Carol’s guest chairs.

Tracy would follow Umiko, taking a seat next to her. Crossing her legs.

"Tracy, Umiko, welcome to the show, and congratulations on the big win. Thank you so much for joining us on the show." Carol greeted, "Let me start off by asking how you two are feeling. You both certainly took some hard hits during that fight."

Tracy would wait until Umiko replied first being respectful of her status as an elite

Umiko smiled and placed her long on her lap so she wouldn’t sit on it nor end up on the floor. “Not trying to speak for the both of us, but I gotta say, I feel pretty good on our latest win regardless of the usual bumps and bruises. But hey some good ice baths would definitely help fix that.” Umiko laughed before turning to Tracy to let her speak and not take up so much of the spotlight.

"Honestly it felt great having a solid partner to team up with for the first time, especially against those two. They were both ruthless fighters that held nothing back, so it really was a pleasure to spoil them rotten!"

“I’d imagine, especially since you’ve fought Mizuko and Barracuda before.” Carol said to Tracy, “This time though you had a tag team partner, but also a knee brace. Did you feel more confident, or more anxious going into this fight?”

"Hee hee, well the knee brace is nothing new. Something I always have to keep a mind on but no. At this stage in my career, I've learned to treat every fight the same. Don't get anxious and don't get cocky, that's how you lose focus and really get hurt." She would say making a point to rub at her braced knee.

“Would you say the same goes for you, Umiko? The two are teammates of yours after all.” Carol said.

"Hee hee oh that's right, I was in the middle of a faction war wasn't I" she would say with a playful giggle.

Umiko couldn’t help but smile even more by Tracy’s compliment before she would throw her own to her tag partner. “Honestly, I gotta say going into the match I wasn’t THAT nervous due to two reasons. One um, I knew Mizuko for a LONG time in our time together in Japan. So I generally figured out how to deal with her in matches and with Barracuda, just gotta outmaneuver him. And for the second reason, well my partner-“ Umiko said before gently resting a hand on Tracy’s shoulder. “I fought Tracy before back during the Factions event and I gotta say... she nearly beat me clean before it became a draw.” Umiko laughed while showing some humbleness.

“But yeah, I wasn’t afraid of going into the match because I knew my opponents well and I knew my teammate was going to be a veteran killer out there. And she didn’t disappoint in the least bit.”

Tracy would just smile with confidence as she reached out to take a glass of water, sipping on it before adding a bit. "Gonna get ya in that rematch though."

“And we’ll all be very excited to see that.” Carol said. The audience cheered sharing their approval, “Let’s go back to this Faction War for a moment though. Umiko, it’d be fair to say there’s in-fighting in Team Trident? What would you say is the team’s dynamic?”

Tracy would sit back and lean in her chair, crossing her legs and paying attention with great interest. She was always curious about this as well.

“Yeah me and you both” Umiko mused before winking at Tracy. “As for that... Yes, there has always been friction and mild tension in Team Trident. But rest assured, with the addition of Cara and the ever-growing organization, Team Trident has never been stronger and will continue to be what Leviathan mainly represents. The representation of-“

Tracy would blink as Umiko would stop mid-sentence as she sat upright.

Umiko stared across the stage to an approaching uninvited guest to the show. Wearing her casual wear and not all too amused, Aman Sinaya aka Tsunami made her presence known by finishing Umiko’s statement. “Representation of hypocrites.” Aman said coldly while staring holes through Umiko.

The new guest on the show was unexpected, but Carol’s a professional that knew how to stay on her feet. The audience Ooh’ed, and Carol introduced the unexpected guest.

“Please welcome to the show, Aman!” Carol waited for applause before going on, “Aman, thank you for joining us. Tell us what you mean by ‘representation of hypocrites?’”

Aman took a second to glance at Carol and decided to play along for now...Normally she's not much of a talker, but when she does decide to open her mouth, she doesn't play around.

“For many years, I have been a part of this organization, I have thrived and I have fought hard… Been here longer than most-” Aman stares right at Tracy. “But yet I’m still due what I’m owed. I have the record, tied with Kaiju’s, undefeated but yet I do not make the PPV all the while SHE does.” Aman continues to use Tracy as an example. “I have done everything for this organization, but they still deny me what I want…”

Carol very intentionally waited for Tracy’s response. Either she’d say something and the story would get even juicier, or she’d say nothing and there’d be a good dramatic pause.

Tracy just sat there with her arms crossed and glared at Aman, sizing her up and down looking unimpressed before she finally just spoke out. "Excuse me, but who the fuck are you? You want something little girl, you take it. You don't bust on stage and CRY for it....get this brat out of here!" Tracy would make a point to set her glass of water down, knowing things might get heated soon.

Aman narrowed her eyes at Tracy and decided from then, she's going to stop playing this game of hype up. "You're right, I am going to take what I want. And that's why I'm here for HER." Aman said while pointing at Umiko.

The Sea Serpent sighed and got to her feet, Umiko was used to this kind of callouts... a lot of fighters had done this to her before. “Oh? So you decided to skip the process and just come right at me… alright then-”

Before Umiko could finish what she was saying once more, Aman interjected. “No. I’m going to let them continue to protect you from me. I’m here for you. and. her.” Aman turned to Tracy “You are well-trained and an experienced fighter who inspired many throughout the years, but your time is up. Your body is aging and you’re past your prime. You know deep down you don’t deserve the main event and they gave you it of pity and just your name. You know the younger stars are more deserving than you. And like you said, it’s time to take what I want. So you can walk away or I can BREAK you” Aman said with no remorse or hesitation in her eyes.

Tracy would listen to Aman rant and give her speech, all the while she would reach up and very neatly remove her glasses and set them aside. As she continued her trash talk, Trach would push on the arms of the chair and slowly step over to get in front of her. Staring her down as she gives Tracy a choice to either walk away or she'll "break" her. She stares her down long and hard before she scoffs a bit and then turns like she’s going to indeed walk away before turning sharply and giving the little upstart the taste of the back of my hand. Bitch slapping her HARD as Tracy’s arm swings across my chest. Standing tall and proud as Tracy glared down at her, staring at her like she was nothing at this moment in spite of all those bold claims.

"You have any idea how many fighters have said they were going to "break" me? Fuck off "little girl". You're not ready for the kind of heat I can bring."

Carol was grateful for the couple-second delay between the live events, and the show reaching its live audience. It gave the censors time to bleep out any bad words that would be said. The crowd actually present for this Reef Report though would gasp as the argument got more and more heated. Carol would try to think up something to say to interrupt the verbal fight, but it was too intense for anyone to back down at this point

As Aman was bitched slapped across the left side of her face and instantly made a red welt that of a handprint. Aman rubbed it for a second before staring daggers towards Tracy for that. Tsunami balled her fist and looked ready to fight.

Seeing Aman and Tracy's postures, Umiko knew where this was going and decided to not let this escalate any further. Umiko instinctively readied herself to wrap her arms around Tracy's waist if things got any more physical.

Aman feeling disrespected went to return the favor and spat right in Tracy's face!

Tracy just stared blankly, blinking once or twice as everything seemed to slow down at that moment, “She spat in my face. The little bitch actually SPAT in my FUCKING FACE!?” Tracy thought to herself. That’s when Tracy SNAPPED! If it wasn't for Umiko holding her back she'd be tearing her apart as she violently tried to break free of Umiko’s grip. "YOU WANT YOUR FUCKING CHANCE! YOU GOT IT! NO DQ! ANYTHING GOES! LAST WOMAN STANDING MATCH YOU COCKY LITTLE BITCH!"

Aman grit her teeth and felt Carol holding on to her, rather than hurting the TV host, Aman decided to resist the temptation to pound fists with Tracy. "GOOD I'm going to retire you so COUNT YOUR DAYS!"

"BEEN THERE, DONE THAT AND HEARD IT BEFORE! YOU'RE GONNA BE ANOTHER BRAT I SEND BACK TO DAYCARE!" She screamed as Umiko wasn't so lucky having to work hard to restrain Tracy.

The argument was reaching a breaking point. While fights were good for ratings, that isn't what Reef Report is for. Carol would break up the fight by telling the crew through her earpiece to focus in on her, and cut everything else out. The mics that were given to Umiko and Tracy for the interview were muted, and the cameras would focus on Carol.

"We'll be right back for more news on all things Leviathan after this commercial break." She would say in her best TV Show Host voice, and the tv would cut to ads. Tracy could be seen jumping Aman in the background as security rushed in to break up the fight.
