  When the commercial break ended, a new show made its official premiere. The camera was rolling, the stage was set, and all attention was drawn towards the stage. The lights came to life and lit up a beautiful desk on stage. To the right of the stage, a woman with vitiligo walked out from behind the curtains, and was greeted by cheers and applause from the crowd. She smiled brightly and waved to the crowd as she made her way behind her desk.
    “Goooooood morning, Leviathan! Welcome to Reef Report, I’m your hostess with the most-est, Carol Swift!”
(Cue the canned cheers)
    “I know you lovelies might be thinking, ‘What in the malarkey is this all about?!?’ Well, just sit back, grab a cup of joe if ya must, get a snuggie, and get ready to go for a ride!” Carol declares before jumping back to sit on her chair and crossing her legs.
“After being a part of the Leviathan media crew for 2-3 years give or take, we’ve finally convinced the higher-ups to launch a talk show. They chose me, ME of all people, to represent it! Hehe, no pressure right?”
(Cue the canned laughs)
“To be getting this huge opportunity, I want to thank Leviathan, Ms. Scylla, and the lovely audience, whether you’re here or at home.”
(Cue the canned awes)
    “Reef Report will be giving the rundown of all of the newest and juiciest news coming from Leviathan. Match highlights, injury updates, possible signees, and even up close interviews with Leviathan stars!”
(Cue the canned cheers)
    “The first round of the Leviathan tournament came to a close, and it could not have had a bigger start! Later tonight we’ll be covering Astrid’s dominant win in the Fatal Four Way. Stay tuned for that.”
    “Our first story. Leviathan sponsored fighter Effie Rook narrowly avoids elimination in a massive upset against Barracuda. Going into this fight with three losses and only one win, the bets were on the Elite Member, Barracuda. Effie was able to land her finisher and went for the pin, but only made it to the two count before Barracuda got back up. After two brutal tombstone piledrivers and his finisher, a Double Underhook Whirlpool DDT, Barracuda knocked out Effie Rook. The match would have ended there if Barracuda decided to pin her. Instead, after parading her around the ring, he went for one more Double Underhook Whirlpool DDT. At the last possible moment Effie came to and was able to pull a reversal to pin him for the three count.”
    “I guess it is true that bee stings hurt the most when you aren’t expecting them.”
    (Cue the canned laughter)
    “Also during the first round there was Berenice vs Dee Dee. Berenice, whom you may all recognize from as the girl from the cover of this month’s edition of Leviathan Monthly, showed exactly why she’s getting so much attention as she made quick work of Dee Dee. The young star Dee Dee looked entirely out of her element in this fight, as this one sided bout ended with her KO’d.”
    “Looks like the D in her name stands for Destroyed.”
    (Cue the canned laughter)
    “Then we get to Sakura vs Destiny. This was a fairly close match. The two boxers traded blows throughout the bout with poor Destiny soaking up the majority of the hits. Sakura’s punches landed harder, but after a cheap shot was thrown after the bell was rung, the judges ruled in Destiny’s favor, making her the winner of the match.”
    “See kids? Being a punching bag does eventually pay off in the end.”
    (Cue canned laughter)
    “Now, in a more serious story. Priscilla vs Italiana took a dark turn. This one sided bout ended with several teeth knocked out and a broken nose as our once beloved SeaHorse sent a bold message to Leviathan that she is a fighter to watch out for. This sudden heel turn came as a shock to many. We reached out to Priscilla for any comments, but we have yet to get a response.”
    “This brings us to our main event of the first round of the tournament. The Fatal Four Way. Mizuko, the Elite Member known as Koi, was the wrestler to watch out for. Brutalizing her opponent Tracy’s already injured leg, an unwitting truce was made between the three opponents as they took the Elite down via Zenath’s Michael Jackson inspired Moonwalk DDT. Astrid quickly became the star of this fight after that. She took out both of her opponents to become the winner of the match. Starting with Tracy with an X-Plex Sit-Out Powerbomb. The next being Zenath, falling victim to Astrid’s horizontal muscle buster.”
    “As we end the first round of the competition, Team Depth Dwellers find themselves down two members. Team Galleon is down one. Team World Serpent is down one. And Team Icarus down three. That’s right folks, three. My sources have been telling me that there might be some internal conflict over leadership in Team Icarus. After the team leader was supposed to be Ms. Scylla, but instead she appointed a surprise pupil in Sally Marston. The only thing that’s for sure is this tournament isn’t over yet. Stay tuned to find out what happens next!
