Description

  The TV lit up with the intro for the Reef Report. The band played the theme song, and the crowd cheered as Carol Swift walked out from behind the curtains. She waved to the crowd as she walked over to her desk.
    “Hello Hello Leviathan!” Carol started, “Welcome to Reef Report. We’ve got a big show for you tonight. The tournament is ramping up, and reaching an explosive peak! For the semifinals, Leviathan had two elimination chamber matches with six women each match.”
    “Unfortunately, Effie Rook was unable to continue the tournament after she was found unconscious in the women’s locker room. Another victim of these mysterious attacks. Thankfully, Ms. Rook is in good health, and we wish the best for her.”
    “Now! Onto the first of the two six women elimination chamber matches.”
    “First two women in the ring: Catfish and Sally! There was a back and forth between the two wrestlers. Trading blow for blow. This was personal for them. Even the audience could tell. Let’s see if this sparks a potential rivalry between the two~.”
    “Then Berenice was released, and to say the least she went on a rampage. Even tossing Catfish over the ropes and onto a pod. Watchers? This is when things got wild.”
    “As more and more fighters came out, all Hell broke loose. Dorado would attack the wrong wrestler right out the gate. She would go for Destiny, but would quickly be humbled by Leviathan member Volcano!”
    “All this chaos left an amazing advantage for the last wrestler that was released. Cara saw how all the wrestlers were exhausted and were able to pick them off one by one until she was declared the winner of the first match by lastly defeating Catfish! Will we see this tactical genius win it all?!? We’ll have to find out soon~”
    “Now, let’s see how the women in Match 2 fared!” Carol said.
    “Right from the start people could tell this fight was going to be tense. The first two fighters in the ring were former friends Priscilla and Tracy. Priscilla as you all remember went through a recent heel turn, and hasn’t been seen since her last fight where she brutalized her opponent. While Priscilla continued to show this new brutal side of her, beating her ex-friend, Tracy was able to turn things around and KO Priscilla with a variation of Umiko’s finisher, the Bermuda Triangle!”
    “Unfortunately for her, a strong start like this left her tired, both physically and mentally. Something that Rebecca took full advantage of. While Rebecca eliminated Tracy, the fans cheered for Tracy. Chanting, “You’re our treasure” as Tracy was taken away. Letting Tracy know, and Leviathan too, that she’s the people’s champion. We here at Reef Report will be keeping a close eye on what the young star does next.”
    “As more and more wrestlers were released, we got a matchup that has been personally a dream match of mine. The Rising Star Astrid vs The Veteran Rebecca vs The Elite Umiko. But before this fight could go anywhere, The Kraken was released. The behemoth of a man. A complete monster in the ring. The only way Astrid, Rebecca, and Umiko had any hope of winning this fight would be through teaming up to take the Kraken down.”
    “With their combined efforts, the Kraken was eliminated. Taking the combined efforts of three of the strongest women in Leviathan, they took him down using a move Rebecca dubbed…” Carol leaned over and asked someone behind the camera, ‘are we allowed to say this on TV? Don’t want to get in trouble with the boss.’ Carol looked back to the camera and continued, “A move Rebecca dubbed a ‘Triple Team Ballplex.’”
    “With Kraken out of the way, this meant that the temporary truce between the three had come to an end. Astrid surprised everyone as she eliminated Rebecca, her own teammate with a horizontal muscle buster! Was this an act of mercy, or Astrid showing respect in her own way to the esteemed fighter? Maybe someday we can get her on the show and ask her ourselves.”
    “That brings us to the finale of this fight! Astrid vs Umiko. Umiko was incredibly drained by this point after taking on the Kraken. This gave Astrid a strong advantage, and could have taken her to the finals! But at the last possible moment, Umiko turned things around. In a risky move, Astrid attempted to hit Umiko with a top rope horizontal muscle buster, but with a burst of strength, Umiko reversed it and turned it into a top rope crucifix driver!”
    “That leaves us with one last fight in this tournament! Cara vs Umiko! I am already on the edge of my seat. Here to tell us more, please give a hand to the tournament finalist Cara!”
    The audience cheered as Cara made her way out from behind the curtains. Carol shook her hand as Cara made her way across the stage to one of the seats by Carol’s desk.
    “Hello Cara, thank you for joining us. We also invited Umiko to join us, but unfortunately due to other obligations she was unable to make it. Now, Cara. Making it to the finals, you must train hard.” Carol said.
    "What I went through to get to this point I started off really low. I used to practice on my own, seeing as I never really had my parents growing up. I would practice day and night to make myself stronger, become a better fighter until a couple of years ago, I started entering tournaments. In my first tournament, I was eliminated in the first round. I wasn't strong enough...
    "After that, I went on to train even harder, and enter more tournaments, more of the same. I wondered what I possibly could have done wrong, especially to have lost so early into these tournaments. And then one day, I decided to start participating in underground fights. Simply to gain more experience. "
    “Underground fights? Those are quite dangerous. Tell us more about that.” Carol asked.
    "During my first and only underground bout, my family got to witness a monster. In the fight, I brutalized and nearly killed the woman I was up against. To this day that weighed on my mind. After that match, my sister and I had a fight, a big one, and I was kicked out of my own home, and I never got to see my brother or sister again."
    “Where did you go from there?”
    "After that, I secluded myself, training tirelessly, nearly to the point I made myself sick. All I wanted to do was get stronger to protect the things I had so I couldn't lose them anymore, and then I stumbled upon Leviathan. The place that changed my life, forever. Since I've joined, I've met many amazing people, reconnected with friends I had in the past. And now have grown to be so much stronger than I ever could have been, and learned to enjoy fighting. I put the shadows of my past behind me, all to make it here today."
    “We’re all very glad you are.” Carol said, smiling warmly at Cara, “Knowing all this, what would it mean to you to win the tournament?”
    "It would mean the world to me. To be able to prove to all the people who told me I couldn't do it. All the people who I fought who beat me, and told me I wasn't strong enough, and that I should give up and walk away. I can finally prove that the hardships I've had to go through, the painful memories I've had to live with, and all the losses I've had to live on made me stronger."
    “Well Cara, good luck in the finale. Fight hard! Unfortunately, that’s all the time we got! Make sure to tune in next time when we cover the results of the tournament where we reveal the first-ever champion of the first-ever Leviathan tournament!”
