My daughter ... I hope this is the look most boys get when they ask her out ... I hope even more that doesnt happen for 10 or so years ...not really counting on either
but I can wish right?
Someone will obviously see this picture and be pissed that she has a gun...others will point out she is actually aiming it at someone...I however help filled her curiousity...while doing so I saw the potential of a great shot...in doing so I got to teach her all about safety, clearing the chamber, removing the clip, and anything else that might occur if she were to find a REAL gun...I reminded her that if she didnt...and something were to happen...how sad daddy would be and I would NEVER be able to take another picture i would be crying too much for the rest of my life...the result? Got bored with firing the gun and we moved on to her kicking my ass in Mario Cart again
I think thats what makes me a great father...makes ANYONE a great parent...stop stifling dreams and curiosity...embrace it with them and help them learn through all of our mistakes...let her go early and she wont go far later...god I hope this works out...she truly is my life

Hopefully anyone that knows anything about guns will notice the red tip on the barrel which signifies it's a toy and wont throw their arms up too much--

Great shot. Although I'm not a parent yet but I completely agree with your way of handling the job. I dont have a kid but already I think about those things too much, specially when I see a parent struggling to make it work and failing because they just don't know what to do.
You are definitely lucky to have her but she is just as lucky to have you. Considering how clueless most parents are these days.

I don't see why someone might spazz because she is holding a gun. Because it is obviously fake... with the bright orange top on it and everything. But I really like the look she has, she is a very beautiful young girl.

I really do think that this is a great photo. The look on her face is great. My father used to play Mario Kart with me all the time. This brings me back to my childhood.

Awesome...its the best compliment you can give...anyone can accidentally take a great picture...its MUCH harder to accidentally be a good parent

I can...I am ranked in the top 2% for Counter Strike...seriously i won about 7000 dollars last year in tournaments (not too much of a geek...I mean seriously...I have a daughter so unlike most of the guys who beat me I have had sex...even if only once)
but I CANNOT for the life of me beat her at the game...I even stayed up late last night practising when she fell asleep...she woke up at 7am and proceeded to beat my ass again
