Back story: Tulip was born in raised in Cloudsdale, but now lives in Ponyville. She grew up with a rather large family: two sisters, and two brothers. Her mother, Lilly, was a florist, and the family runs their own flower shop. Her father, Elliot, was a chef. Tulip loved cooking with him as a filly. At the age of 5, her father passed away, and it tore the whole family apart. Tulip was the closest to him, and at the time she didn't really understand what had happened because she was too young. But as soon as she was able to understand, it killed her. She'd lie awake at night, crying and remembering things that she did with him as a child. At age 12, her mother remarried Benji Cuisine, a chef like her father, and Tulip was not so happy. Benji brought in a daughter, so Tulip had a new step sister. Tulip kept her distance when Benji arrived. The daughter, she could get alone with, but Benji? No. Tulip was not ready to call him her father yet. 5 years later, she still hasn't warmed up to him like her siblings have. She still lives at home, and frequently works at the flower shop.

Personality: Tulip is a bubbly pony. Growing up in a large family, she likes to be around other ponies. Making friends is one of her favorite things to do. She's very outgoing, loves cracking jokes, and making ponies laugh. She has very sensitive emotions, due to the passing of her father at a young age. She's had depression waves that hit her hard, that started a little after her father passed away. She loves helping around the house and at the family flower shop. Tulip gets along with just about everyone, which is a thing she takes pride in.
