My goal here isn't to make him stop drawing, other that the proportion, he's good. The thing is, this drawing is sort of sexist. It's not the worst I've ever seen, but It's setting unrealistic standards for women's bodies. If I simply ignored this, and went on with my life, that wouldn't be changing anything. If I don't speak up, then who will? I honestly don't see a lot of feminists on deviantart. So yes, it is really that hard to "just leave it be" and it is worth my time. I understand that I'm probably not making a big difference, but I'm at least making some people notice, and that's exactly what i hoped for.
