who knew she could be so cute?Zira grew up as a rogue to parents named Bianca and Nyoka. The both of them had been wronged by the Pridelands' Queen Uru, and they both sought revenge. They raised Zira in the harsh conditions of the prideless life.
As she and her family spied on the royal family, Zira found herself drawn towards the prince Askari. His mom and brother paid little attention to him, as did the rest of the pride. Against her better judgement, she snuck away from her parents and created a friendship with the dejected prince. These meetings continued on for a while, until her father confronted her one day. He was about to scold her harshly, but then he decided to use Zira's friendship with Askari to take him out.
No guard leader? A takeover would be a shoo-in.
On their next meeting, Nyoka went to meet Askari in Zira's stead. He underestimated the scrawny lion, and was killed by him. Nyoka's attack left Askari with a scar over his eye. Zira came out of hiding in disbelief. She thought that she would feel sadness, but she felt... relief? The male that abused her for her whole life was gone. In a way, Askari saved her.
Askari later becomes Scar.
