"Woooahhh!" Furaha exclaimed. "Is this the Pridelands?"

"Well..." Rani began.

Mapenzi sighed and rolled her eyes. "This must be, like, the fiftieth time you've said that. This can't be the Pridelands. Where are all the prides?"

"Well maybe your ugly face scared them off!" Furaha sticks her tongue out at her sister.

"Yeah? Well you-" Rani separates the twins with her paw before the bickering can continue.

"Now girls, there is no need to argue. Yes, Furaha, this is the Pridelands. See the big rock in the distance? That's Pride Rock."

"But why haven't we seen any prides yet?" Mapenzi asked; Furaha nodded in agreement.

Rani laughed a little. "There's only one pride that lives here, and your aunt is its ruler. It's only called "the Pridelands" because the lions that founded these lands came together and made a place of freedom. A place anyone could say they were proud to live."

"Woah." The girls said in unison.
