Bio: Nala is Simba's cubhood best friend. She has always had a bit of a crush on the young prince, and she was secretly happy to learn that one day they would be married. But that future was taken from her when Simba "died" and Scar took over the Pride.

She, and the rest of the pride, were miserable. Once the males were sexually mature, Scar worried that there was the possibility of cubs not born from him. He knew of the younglings' hostility towards him so he proposed a deal. Pledge loyalty to him and they would be allowed to stay in the pride, or leave. All but Chumvi left the pride.

Nala had captured Scar's attention one day after her fifth birthday. Her mother had bore him cubs that didn't survive, and even bore a cub from a filthy rogue years before. Scar wanted Nala to have his cubs, as it was obvious he wasn't going to get anything good from her mother. Of course, Nala didn't want to. But Scar wasn't asking.

In despair over being impregnated by such a cruel tyrant, Nala made a promise. She would raise her cub to be kind, and reject it's father's mindset. To one day overthrow him.

Three months later, Nala gave birth to Kopa. She immediately loved him, but his eyes unnerved her. They were the same as Scar's. Otherwise, he looked much more like her side of the family than Scar's. The boy was initially Scar's successor, but Scar found the cub to be too whiny. Nuka was enough of a cry baby, he didn't need another. So Kopa was rejected by his father, and thus not next in line for the throne.

Scar continued to mate with other lionesses in the pride, and Nala decided that enough was enough. She couldn't wait for her son to grow up, for fear that they would not make it that long. She had to escape and find help.

She managed to find Simba in an oasis way out in the desert. She was so happy to see her cubhood friend again, and he was happy to see her. Hormones flared and they had a wonderful night together. Although initially Simba refused to return to the Pridelands to reclaim his rightful place on the throne, eventually he accepted his destiny with the help of Rafiki and his deceased father.

Scar was defeated and the lands eventually went back to normal. Nala had given birth to Kiara a few months later. She gave birth again to Kion shortly after the two prides united.
