I think the fact that the serpent-creature is facing directly forward makes it look rather static and flat... but other than that, this is very well-executed. The girl's appearance is fascinating, particularly in her expression, pose and the motion of her hair and skirt.

Yeah.. I was noticing, the skin of the girl isn't as good as you normally color..
But her hair.. it's truly astounding.
I've always awed at how you color hair. *strokes it*
The clothes are great too, I like the design and the color choices are great.
And that's a really pretty background, wish we could see more of it, but you've got just the background posted so it's all good!! : )

The light made her knee look strange, I also think that there should be a shadow under her foot because it makes the girl and the dragon look as if they were separated pictures. However I like the details of the character itself. Is it a no lineart work?
