Shadow Hat is the non-evil villain type, Is a businessman that offers different kinds of products made at his factory.Shadow has a little hobby and is play with people making them have an humiliating day in a toon factory suffering all kinds of TF (as well, he may use these victims to test his artifacts). Shadow Hat only takes a day of the person and most of times let's them go with no memory of what happened. he may as well give his victims some money as a thanks for their time
Shadow Hat has middle skills at fighting, middle power in magic and normally depends on the weapons and toys under his cape
When arrested, He doesn't last long before either, he bribes, hypnotize the people in where he is held or simply escapes
SH is "a magical machine made out of a Darkness Material" His main source of power is a magical crystal that allows him to use magic
if Shadow Hat's body is totally destroyed, somewhere else, a replica of him with memory backup of until the last second he was destroyed will be created, though no one knows where this place is neither him (It's a really deal he did with certain someone)
If The magic crystal is extracted out of his body, both, the crystal and his body will self destruct
Sh has many kind of mechanism to change it's base from location, and keep the secrets of his body safe
Yeah, he is a Gary Stu in the point of his "immortality" and his secrets

Seems like a decent guy. I see o reason for people to go after him, though the world gaurdian might try to aprehend him if he actually does anything really bad, and he has a resistance to hypnotism, and other things

My favorite OC of yours, he's just so funny in your strips and I love how he will TF and hypnotize others so much, and I love it at those times when he gets someone pissed at him and his reactions to it, its rather funny. Shadowhat's appears to have become sort of a "Mascot" for you in a way too, from what I've seen.
Oh, I wasn't aware of this Immortality Crystal that keeps him alive, but I like that concept. Certainly explains some of the stuff he's been through. This reminds me a lot of the girls in Maho Shoujo Madoka Magika, who also possess similar magic jewels called Soul Gems. I always liked this concept, and it makes me like him even more.
Since you aren't familiar with very much of that anime from what I heard, I'll tell you some about it. Sort of like him, their Soul Gems essentially keep them alive and they attach onto their body too. The Soul Gems make them somewhat immortal and allow them to survive things that would normally kill an ordinary person, and lets them keep going despite that. Their Soul Gems also can heal them over time and make them gain back lost limbs and such, though this can take hours or even days, but even if their whole entire body were to be destroyed, the gem will restore them back to normal later on. However, if one of the Maho Shoujo's Soul Gems were to be destroyed, they would die instantly, so they aren't totally unkillable, just more difficult to kill than an ordinary person would. Not only that, but the reason for their Soul Gems is because they made a "Contract" with a certain magic being named Kyubey, who gave them their powers and one free wish, but in exchange for a lot more (don't want to spoil what it is though).
Pretty neat similarity huh? I personally don't find it to be so much of a "Gary Stu" trait, for it is possible to kill the said character, but he's just pretty much immune to most conventional means, and Maho Shoujo Madoka Magika involves a team of like 5 girls who all have similar Gems with similar Semi-Immortality powers from it, and they aren't technically overpowered.

No, the jewel he has is not the source of his immortality, the jewel only allows him to use magic (in my comic world, machines can't use magic by themselves) If his armor is not heavily damaged, he can reconstruct, and if it's totally destroyed he is somewhat "cloned"
and yeah, I think I'll seen Madoka Magica one of these days

Oh I see how its different. Well I still find it similar, but not as much as before.
And yeah, Madoka Magika only has 12 episodes and a manga series, so it isn't too many. I have to warn you that it becomes rather grim and a bit depressing at times when you'd least expect it, but I still think you'd like it, considering that I've seen you like grim animes such as Code Geass. You also appear to somewhat like magic and Magical Girls, so that you'd enjoy about it too. The anime is full of surprises too, and has quite a few unexpected plot twists.
BTW, have you seen my newer FC's for Maho Shoujo Madoka Magika? I have been using two of them a bit lately and I have a third one in the works, and I feel you might like them too. If you haven't you should check them out.

I use OC (original character) when its an original character who is not supposed to be like a fandom-addition to an already existing series and is part of a series of your own, and FC (fan-character) when its an original character who's supposed to be like an unofficial character for an existing series.
Mine are supposed to be part of Maho Shoujo Madoka Magika, which is an already existing series and therefore I think of them as FC's. Shadowhat though, he's for your own series and not exactly part of an already existing game or anime or something, so I'd consider him an OC. Hope that explains it.
Also I think you saw one of mine. The other is Rika Isoni, this schoolgirl one whom I think you might like too.
