So this three-page comic series is part of the alive!Baba AU-- the events that would have happened if Baba hadn't died. One of the major things that happens is this fight he has with Burr.

When they first met each other, they didn't really get along that well. They had quite a tense relationship, and would often be at the brink of going full out with each other. The reason for the start of this particular fight is up in the air-- it could have been for a number of reasons.

It's most likely that Baba had finally picked away at Burr's patience with his taunting/sly remarks, and Burr retaliated with some sharp comments of his own-- they know how to get deep into each other's skin, which then probably ignited this fight.

And yes--
just like how when Blossom accidentally discovered her ice powers, me and BurningTigah thought that Burr would discover his fire powers accidentally too~ Surprising everyone involved, really, including Burr
