Inspired to make a BillxMandy pic after watching the episode titled "Little Rock of Horrors" (the one with an alien thing making Billy gather people up so it can eat their brains)

The song in the episode ("Brains" by Voltaire) is awesome, but what really made me wanna draw some Billandy (lol, if that term hasn't been coined already, I'll coin it LOL jks xD) is the lines

"Now you've been swell to go around
and bring me every single brain in town
but with all these brains i cant help but think
that there isn't one left out there to drink.

Now fess up boy, come on, heck
is there someone that you're trying to protect?
Bring her down here to meet her end
and i promise i'll be your bestest friend."

Those lyrics, coupled with Billy's troubled, reluctant expressions/movements when he snapped out of it after actually seeing Mandy and 'bringing' her to it, made me inwardly squee. He had no qualms about sending his other friends to the alien, and was even happy to sacrifice his parents! But he seemed to subconsciously leave her alone, even though she should have been the first one he thought of to bring, and I just love love love the thought that he was trying to hide her/protect her. Especially if he wasnt consciously doing so.

He may have just been acting according to the song, but he didnt NEED to look so troubled (it's Billy, come on). And he may have just been scared that if he sacrificed Mandy, Mandy would find a way to punish him painfully, but let a fangirl have her moments xP

Phew, okay. I know this couple will most likely never happen (this is Mandy. Mandy) but it strangely appeals to me~

My fave fanfiction story about them (which is totally awesome and a must-read. Mandy's so in character that it's scary and there's no actual 'romance'- just Mandy fighting the devil for the right to keep Billy's soul, and her explanation for her and Billy's relationship is so darkly beautiful) is called "Only Human" by KitKatBarStory. here's the story link: [link] (READ.
