Featured here are Nick Wilde (the antihero of Zootopia [or Zootropolis or Zoomania in Europe]) and me, Ricky the Lion, in different scenes singing the High School Musical song "When There Was Me and You." Here, it's decided that Nick would be at the slope by the bridge where he and Judy reconcile, and I am walking down the street, passing some kind of coupe car.

This scene takes place at the press conference, where Judy Hopps unintentionally upsets Nick Wilde, as she ended up labeling predators as "savages." If I was in it, I'd be just as mad because foxes and lions are both predators. In fact, I figured the song might suit Nick Wilde at the time if it was reused in the movie.

I wonder where exactly we would have been if it was that way.

Here's the way I'd have visualized it going now (almost the same as before, but with a few differences):

Nick: It's funny when you find yourself
Lookin' from the outside.
I'm standin' here, but all I want
Is to be over there.
Why did I let myself believe
Miracles could happen?
'Cause now I have to pretend
That I don't really care.

I thought you were my fairy tale,
A dream when I'm not sleepin',
A wish upon a star
That's comin' true,
But everybody else could tell
That I confused my feelin's
With the truth
When there was me and you.

Ricky: I swore I knew the melody
That I heard you singin',
And when you smiled, you made me feel
Like I could sing along,
But then you went and changed the words.
Now my heart is empty.
I'm only left with used-to-be's
And once upon a song.

Now I know you're not a fairy tale,
And dreams were meant for sleepin',
And wishes on a star
Just don't come true,
'Cause now, even I can tell
That I confused my feelin's

I can't believe that I could be so blind.
Nick: It's like you were floatin'
While I was fallin',
Both: And I didn't mind.
