UVB is the one form of ultraviolet that makes exposed skin turn red.
UVA, on the other hand, does more damage, such as by getting through the skin, and in less time than UVB. And what's more, UVA can even get through this invisible or transparent force-field called glass. So, UVA is a worse thing to get harmed by than UVB.
For that, a better sunscreen resists both ultraviolet types.
