On warm days, Daniel typically plays outside with his sister. There's a tree in their backyard that they like to climb. Just because. Unfortunately, Daniel's sister is over at a friend's house for the day, so he's stuck at home. Bored out of his mind, he decides to climb that tree. He spends a few minutes sitting on this one branch that's about ten feet off the ground, just thinking. When he tries to jump off the branch, however, the back of his shorts gets snagged on it. He left his cell phone in the house, though, which means he can't call his sister to help him down, AND he can't remember whether or not he locked the door. So, instead of being stuck outside in just his underwear, he chooses to stay in the tree until somebody comes along to get him down. Unfortunately, he's stuck outside in the muggy-as-hell Illinois summer AND neither of his parents are due back home from work for ANOTHER THREE HOURS!!
