it's still not out in the US? how? O.o It's been out in cinemas in little ol' Slovenia for almost three weeks now. But I'm actually going to go see it for the first time today (a slovenian dub but still

Ya It premiere's next Friday over here and I don't know why it has come out early in other countries and not in the US, a fact that I think is really unfair, a movie like this should be premeried on the same day or night like any other movie. Although I'm not too sad about it cause I have stumbled upon enough spoilers and watched enough clips to basically know what happens XD. Let me know what you think of the movie after you watch it I'm curious to hear your thoughts

I think any movie should come out in their original country first.
i managed to go see it with minimum spoilers and I really liked it! I especially loved the twins! They were so good in the dub. 
I liked how they wrapped the story up. I just wish it would have ended 5 minutes earlier with the dragons leaving. i didn't like the part where hiccup and toothless met again after many years and then they were flying with the kids. it just muddied the message a bit.

I saw the movie last Friday and it was absolutely amazing, I couldn't stop crying after the movie ended XD, and I agree with you about the ending, I also thought that the ending didn't really follow the whole moral of the story, but I loved seeing their kids especially toothless's adorable triplets. But my mother actually pointed something out to me that explains the ending which is that toothless can never truly be free from hiccup because hiccup still needs to check up on him because toothless still has a handicapped tail that still needs daily maintenance and still has to be oiled. Kind of like how a soldier with a handicapped leg needs to go into the mechanics in order to make sure everything still works or he was worried that the tail had eventually fallen off. I mean even hiccup admitted in the movie that the tail needs new oil change.

I don't accept that headcanon! I don't want it. I want them both to be free! XD And besides if the tail lasted for so long after they parted I think it's fine

I want them to be free too, but hiccup needing to make daily trips to make sure the tail still works properly seems like the most sense to me, I mean the tail could rust or it could get damaged when toothless tries to establish his dominance to keep the other dragons in line or here's a funny thought, his babies break it by using his tail as a chew toy XD!!

They could have still used the kids but change it to an old hiccup talking to his grandkids and the scene then shifts to toothless flying with his family end of story, but of course the ending was probably the most difficult thing they had to write.
