Description Allright, here's a drawing done with colored pencils, just a pretty simple one. I focused mainly with perspective on this one. I've got my two characters here that I'm officially keeping. I just have to make refs for them. ^^ Enjoy!

I like the symmetry of the pic with two mountain sides placed at left and right, two wolves at the center with the same expressions give the pic a good balance
About shading,u should add darker colours of their fur on their faces, chins, chest, front legs and a few part of the hindlegs which are shaded by their thighs and bodies.
*With the red one's white chest fur,u can use gray for the shade ,as long as u go to the edges of his/her chest ,gently press the colour gray until it reaches its darkest then use black to edge his/her chest.
*About his/her red part,u should recolour his/her red fur(at least i think it's red)
then use brown (it makes red becomes crimson)then black)
*Yellow one:u can use chrome yellow first, then orange, burnt ochre then brown for shading his/her fur(u can add black if u like )
Mountain side:at the feet, colour dark gray or black instead,as long as they go to the two sides of the pics, they will get darker.
Add a little moss-green on them
LIGHT:
Red one:leave his/her along-nape mane stays red,use yeloow or chrome yellow to lighten ,mix a little of vermilion or orange at the border of yellow and red.
Yellow one:same steps with the red one but lighten it with white

PS:That's all what i can give you to make your pic looks better
Sorry 4 my bad grammar!Hope u can get the ideas(stupid me! )
btw,can u show me their names?

Wow, thank you so much with the critique! I want to re-du this one, so I'll keep this all in mind when I do so. I was just reading up on the color wheel, and what you're recommending is about the same thing, where you use the opposing color on the color wheel to make a shade that isn't black or grey, (more realistic) Again, thanks for the critique!!

Sure, the yellow one is named Dakota, and the red one is a girl named Kenna. ^^ Why do you need their names?

Thank you ^^ I really like these characters too, I'll be making refs for them sometime, its just, haven't figured out what to call them really, what should their names be?

Oh, ah the one on the right is fire, and then the one on the left isn't an elemental, just a regular wolf. Ok, remind me again? Is your water elemental a female or male?

my water elemental is male, my wind is female ^^ (i'll give you a list of names for the fire wolves here in a sec. k?^^)

allright, ok. I'll record that! ^^ My fire elemental's a female then, and then the earth's a male. I'll keep note of this too, I think this is the fourteenth time I've asked you this

Well, this is new ^^ Okay, let's start

First of all, you said that your main focus was perspective. Well, let me be the first to say that you did a great job on it and really gives depth to the drawing. The wolves's poses are obviously epic and who doesn't like that ? Once again, you did the wolves flawlessly. Plus, I really like the fact that you gave the fur a motion suggesting wind (witch by the way adds to the epicness of this picture x3 ) so nothing more to say about that. The background is relatively simple but it's okay. The background isn't the most important in this kind of drawing. You made a very hard shading on the ground with the shadows of the wolves. This is the first thing wrong that I see. You did a very contrasted shadow and the wolves themselves are barely shaded at all. I can see that you did a very light shading but considering the one you did on the ground and the fact that it is a sunset, the contrast of shading on the wolves should be much greater. I know shading is hard with colored pencils but I can suggest you this : if it's too hard to shade on the paper, you can always shade it via GIMP of photoshop if you have the software. I can give you tips if you plan on using that method eventually ^^. Finally to conclude, just one last thing bothers me, both wolves have almost the identical expression ^^ But I guess it's not that problematic xD.

Okay, finished

^^ Yes

Thank you! And, I agree with that shading, I see. I did make it real hard. Hmmmm....Allright, I'm going to redu this one, cuz I really like it, with a less harder shade, and put more shading on the wolves themselves, then change their expressions so that they don't completely match

Thanks for the critique D!
