Jeremy Brett is miles better than RDJ's Holmes, but truthfully, RDJ's Holmes wasn't as bad as I was expecting him to be. He was actually kind of okay, especially in the second film, not so much in the first. But of course, his look is all wrong. The least they could have done was fallow the canon about that!

lol- ya the new movie would be much better if 1) RDJ looked ANYTHING like Holmes (TALLER!! MUST BE TALLER!!!) and 2) if Irene Adler was NOT IN IT...
*sigh* Hollywood can't just leave alone an already filled love interest can they? Like- they're so heterosexual it's actually sickening!
