Would you be interested in sharing how you painted and /or glazed this piece? It's quite wonderful, I've been trying to find such an effect to use on my sculptures for about a year now. Please share! Wonderful work by the way. Completely underrated.

Hello VF2, Β thank you for your feedback and inquiry , i use mason stains on my ceramic pieces..it is applied to the bisque ware in a very watered down solution, mason stains are basically mineral pigments,.. but they can be used on ceramics in a variety of ways.. i like the painterly almost watercolor effect...the heaviest concentration of the stain settles into the cracks ,incisions and recessed areas,.. after the stain is applied a final clear glaze is added Β then the piece is fired at cone 04..hope this helps!

This is amazing, seriously that is really awesome, I might use it as inspiration as a creature in one of my fantasy stories if you'll allow it.
