A combination of Durkon Thundershield, from the webcomic Order of the Stick, and Commander Montgomery Scott, from the television series Star Trek, in the style of Order of the Stick. Made in Inkscape.

This was an entry in the Iron Avatarist: Space Opera competition on the Giant in the Playground forums.

Really, this combination was almost too easy. I probably should have done more than I did with the Jeffries Tube, but I'm pleased with how it came out.

For the record, I did put the Starfleet emblem on his uniform, even though it's covered by his beard.

Edit: Ooh, I didn't realize how the transparent parts would work. I think it looks nice this way, with the darker gray, even if the dA logo is a little distracting.
